The following is a recent applicant’s description of their MIT Sloan MBA admissions interview: Went smoothly. Lasted about 45 mins. Got admitted. The interviewer hardly smiled. Difficult to read. So don’t be discouraged by the lack of smile. Spent the majority of the time talking about my resume and a few behavioral questions. Why B school? Why Sloan? Tell me about the time when you had to deal with a team member who is not pulling his/her weight. what would your friends say your weakness is? What are you planning to do in [city] before you fly back? Any questions for me? For more MIT Sloan MBA admissions interview questions, check out our MIT Sloan Interview Archive!

Note:
I received my interview invite last Friday on 4/25/24, and was only able to select the prerecorded option due to a lack of availability of the Zoom interview option. The Haas prerecorded interview experience was much better than other schools in that it provided 45 seconds to prepare, and 3 minutes to respond for each question, which allowed for me to present myself authentically without feeling rushed.

Note:
I am really surprised they did not offer any interviews and that the whole process was so fast. I am assuming I was rejected since they sent me a generic email saying to check the portal for a decision on May 3rd. It seems like they only interviewed international applicants?
