Fridays From The Frontline

Hi there and welcome back to another edition of Fridays From The Frontline, Clear Admit’s lengthy look-see into the lives of law school student and applicant bloggers! Many bloggers wrote about their recent Thanksgiving experiences, while others spent some time venting about their completed, or upcoming, exams.

0L Ricky Nelson had a busy Thanksgiving holiday in which his laptop died but, happily, he also received his first law school acceptance notification. Congratulations! NYU ’12 IDWSJ compared preparing for the LSAT to preparing for actual law school exams, and mixed metaphors with the help of Super Mario. 1L Molly craved comfort foods in the face of finals, and found a possible paramour that she actually liked. Though she acknowledged that finals had not actually ended, Austin ’12 Mariel produced her own guide to surviving the exams. NC ’12 TDot wished all his readers a happy Thanksgiving and agreed with at least one of Mariel’s survival rules after completing 6.82% of his law school experience. Chapman ’12 Julie found that finals were a great reason to start blogging more, and was not amused by the noise level of her neighbors. NYU ’12 Soleil completed her classes and began the exam countdown. Considering his impending exams, Northwestern ’12 Jeremy decided to have a low key Thanksgiving with a college buddy and catch up on his reading.

Harvard ’11 Ivy Lea supplied a link to her most recent admissions post about her last week of classes. Yale ’11 SB enjoyed a wine-filled Thanksgiving and found that her fellow students/friends could get quite competitive when it came to board games. 2L Huma provided a very entertaining, while still educational, ‘mini-lesson’ on Hajj. 2L NewLawMom received her tax exam midterm grade, but wished for a little more feedback. 2L Laughing came home from Thanksgiving to quite a loving cat, and the realization that she is half way done with law school. 2L TheExit asked her readers to vote on whether she should get a puppy.  Minnesota ’11 Jansen had a few thoughts about law school, and referred to himself as a MacGyver in a school of MacGyvers. 3L (In)Sanity Gal had an impending paper on her mind and considered the fate of ‘future (In)Sanity Gal.’ Austin ’10 Paragon2Pieces shared the email all law students received in regards to the recent announcement of the school’s tuition increase.

And that concludes this week’s edition of Clear Admit’s weekly Fridays From The Frontline. We hope that exams continue to be relatively manageable for current students, and that applicants had relatively positive experiences with their LSATs. If you are a current law school applicant blogger, let us know by writing bob@clearadmit.com. Until next week, have a great weekend!
