Fridays From The Frontline

Hello and welcome to Clear Admit’s inaugural Fridays From The (law school) Frontline! In this weekly feature we take a look at the goings on in the law school blogosphere, checking in with current students and aspirants as well.

3L ‘10 Kel did her own ‘Women in Law Wednesday’ round up, and had a very important piece of advice about what to do if you, or someone you know, is having a heart attack. 2L Hugo, having finally moved past his own first year status, had a few thoughts to share with the new kids on campus. Harvard ‘11 Ivy Lea was partially happy with the snow that started falling outside her house, but not entirely. Yale ‘11 SB, having her summer internship under control, was looking forward to her fall break. Minnesota 2L Jansen had trouble studying for an exam, but did have a good laugh.

Chapman ‘12 BlawGirl couldn’t believe she was almost half way through her first semester of law school, and recounted a moment of laughter during a torts exam. Columbia ‘12 Soleil wondered why the school’s classrooms were either too hot or too cold. UT Austin ‘12 Mariel listed some positive lessons she has taken from her law school experience thus far, like how to take a compliment. 1L Huma put together a few different business casual outfits for her readers to consider, each under $200. NYU ‘12 InvisibleMan found that being in law school led to less television, music and reading, and was not bothered by it.  Miami ‘12 Goateed 1Lseemed bemused by his classmates’ annoyance at a high temperature of only 72 degrees.  NYU ‘12 IDon’tWearSkinnyJeans was preparing to attend a ‘Bar Review’ that would include NYU and Columbia participants, and had a few thoughts on how this would unfold. 1L Alex looked at the sort of relationships one forms in the first few months of law school and shared her findings. 1L Molly knew that a midterm was graded, but didn’t know how she fared, and was on her way to a client counseling competition. NYU 1L Reckless had a few thoughts about the recently established bidding for electives system.

And that concludes our first law school edition of Fridays From The Frontline. If you are currently a law school blogger, or a law school applicant blogger, and would like to be included in our frightfully fun and fantastic round up, just send us an email at bob@clearadmit.com.
