Tepper ’13 Julianne reflected on another essay prompt for Tepper and provided observations and guidance to those still facing a blank page. Kellogg ’13 Night Owl recounted the strength of her grandmother and mother in recognition of Martin Luther King Jr. Day. Harvard ’13 Parker enjoyed drinking beer on tiny stools on street corners in Hanoi, and went night squid hunting. Johnson ’13 Ellipser linked to a Facebook page that dedicated itself to quoting things that MBAs say. Johnson ’13 Andrew shared a photograph of Ithaca.

Darden ’12 Darden Poet came across her eighth grade self’s career goals and enjoyed participating in a sketch comedy show with classmates. Kellogg ’12 Jeremy extolled the virtues of factoring in ‘transition time.’ Darden ’12 Jonathan announced his post-grad plans to move to South Korea. GW ’12 Part-timer explained why his final semester might be the most intense.

And that’s a wrap for this edition of Fridays From the Frontline. We hope more acceptance notices are received and interview invites extended as the days go by. Until next week, have a great weekend!

Hello and welcome to Fridays From the Frontline, Clear Admit’s weekly blog feature focused on the fabulous experiences of those in the b-school blogosphere. With Christmas and Channukah behind us, it was a relatively quiet week.

Motown checked in after a bit of silence and recommended that future applicants try to avoid getting their wisdom teeth taken out just as deadlines begin to loom. Rolipolli wished readers a Merry Christmas and expressed a true passion for chocolate. The Applicationist happily reported that they received an interview invitation from Columbia.

Johnson ’13 Andrew continued to share some of the highlights of his recent case competition experience. MIT ’13 ECLS recounted a recent Fellows Program trip to New York, where the group met with a number of speakers, toured the NYSE , the UN building and the Met.

Johnson ’13 Ellipser fashioned a post entirely around the theme of what he has learned thus far in b-school.

Kellogg ’12 Jeremy planned on attending the Hispanic Heritage Youth Awards. INSEAD ’11 V. used an airport analogy to explain the different ways INSEAD can help someone find their wings.
