The Forté Foundation, an organization devoted to helping launch women in careers in business, will host an online seminar next week designed for women from a liberal arts background who are interested in pursuing an MBA. “Women with liberal arts degrees are valued in the MBA classroom,” notes Forté. The online seminar, open to Forté members, will take place Tuesday, March 3, from 1 to 2 p.m. EST.
The webinar will feature women currently enrolled in MBA programs discussing the challenges and successes they experienced coming from liberal arts backgrounds. Specifically, the webinar will address how to leverage a liberal arts background or limited quantitative profile as part of the application process. “The diversity of backgrounds in an MBA classroom is one of the hallmarks of the degree,” notes Forté.
