Fridays From the Frontline: Einstein’s Dilemma

Fridays From the Frontline is Clear Admit’s weekly summation of the business school blogosphere. Albert Einstein once said that “the only reason for time is so that everything does not happen at once.” Yet there is one month every year when time does not seem to fulfill its purpose. Yes, we are speaking of business school deadlines. This week, applicants kick it into high-gear as the deadlines close in, while current students enjoy the many exciting opportunities open to them at business school.

Among currently applicants, Efessays offers us a virtual lesson on strategies for the critical reasoning section of the GMAT. Meanwhile, although Grantmeadmission got a 710 again on the GMAT, he’ll still be able to combine his best quantitative and verbal scores for Tuck, yielding a 730. Finally, Texaswannabecali got a 680 on the GMAT, but is confident that she can do better the second time.

In other news,Thebumpyroadtoanmba is staying motivated by looking at the Facebook and Instagram feeds for her target schools, while Topdogmba’s dog distracts him from his business school applications by wanting a walk. When it comes to the essay section, Naijambagal has decided to write a little bit everyday and made some important discoveries as a result. Finally, Grantmeadmission explains why engineers should get MBAs.

Among current business school students, Mbathenonprofitway confirms that business school is as busy as everyone says, Britney Sussmam describes her conversation with the U.S. Ambassador to Cambodia, and Oxonian2014 summarizes his two elective courses at Oxford, Private Equity and Business in Africa.

That’s everything for this week! Good luck with your applications and be sure to tune in next week for more news from the business school blogosphere!
