Michigan / Ross Essay Topics 2014-2015

In a recent blog post, Ross Admissions Director Soojin Kwon announced the essay questions for the Class of 2017. In line with Kwon’s sentiment that Ross is “changing it up this year,” the 2014-2015 application features only two essay questions, bringing down the total word count from 950 to 800.  This year’s questions are below:

Essay 1: What are you most proud of professionally and why? What did you learn from that experience? (400 words)

Essay 2: What are you most proud of personally and why? How does it shape who you are today? (400 words)

Ross also publishes an optional essay in its online application which is as follows:

Optional Essay: Is there anything not addressed elsewhere in the application that you would like the Admissions Committee to know about you to evaluate your candidacy? (300 words)
