Twitter Thursdays: News from MBA Programs

Welcome to another take of Twitter Thursdays, in which we highlight the latest happenings from MBA programs, as reported on Twitter.  If you want to stay on top of our updates, special prizes, admissions tips and breaking news, be sure to check Clear Admit out on Twitter. The Dean of the Darden School of Business, Bob Bruner, returned from China this week, having convened Darden’s Global Advisory Council and their first Shanghai Investing Summit. Rich Lyons, the Dean of the Haas School of Business, posted some reflections on his trip to Japan. Conrad Chua, Head of Cambridge MBA Admissions and Marketing, plugged a podcast by students about Columbia Business School’s Odyssey competition. The Dean of the Kellogg School of Management, Sally Blount, enjoyed her trip to New York City, where she discussed the school’s brand presence on Wall St.

For MBA applicants considering a career agribusiness, education, energy, health care, and more, Chicago Booth hosted a related live chat this week. With their EMBA program wrapping up, London Business School shared several students’ perspectives on their learning experiences. Following commencement ceremonies last week, Duke / Fuqua also posted students’ reflections on their b-school lives. Looking ahead to the next admissions season, Columbia Business School released the application for matriculation in 2015.
