Twitter Thursdays: News from MBA Programs

Welcome to this week’s Twitter Thursdays, our weekly roundup of “tweets” posted by top MBA programs on Twitter. If you want to stay on top of Clear Admit’s updates, special prizes, admissions tips and breaking news, be sure to check us out on Twitter.  We’ve also created a list of MBA programs to ease your daily access to breaking news from the top MBA programs, as reported by admissions committee members themselves.

The Head of Cambridge MBA Admissions and Marketing, Conrad Chua, plugged some unusual research methods and reflected on the school’s place in the Financial Times rankings.   The Dean of UCLA / Anderson School of Management, Judy Olian, shed her Twitter spotlight on some influential alumni.  The Dean of Berkeley / Haas School of Business, Rich Lyons, touched on this year’s Asia Business Conference.  Also on the West Coast, the Dean of Stanford GSB, Garth Saloner, marked the attendance of the school’s Business of Change event.

In addition to plugging some class visit opportunities, Columbia Business School hosted a “bring your sister to school” day.  For prospective MBA applicants interested in marketing, Chicago Booth hosted a chat with current students pursuing that track.  Professors at The Wharton School chimed in on a number of research topics, including how happiness can be tied to age.  In addition to a pulsing Twitter feed, INSEAD also offers a weekly newsletter to stay up-to-date.

Thanks for tuning into Twitter Thursdays this week!  If you’re on Twitter, let us know; e-mail with your user name and status as an MBA applicant, student or admissions officer so we can add you to the appropriate Twitter list.  Happy tweeting and we’ll see you next week with some more updates!
