News, advice and resources for business school applicants

Fridays From The Frontline

Hello and welcome to Fridays From The Frontline, Clear Admit’s weekly dive into the b-school blogosphere.

Understanding that there was very little he could do but wait for his first round applications, MBAOver30 began researching schools for his round two applications. Sassafrass worked on not succumbing to anxiety over “meaningless” data while reporting no new news from Yale or Stanford.  Though Sanket himself hadn’t had an HBS interview invite, he still had some recommendations and thoughts to share with his readers. Unclearadmit didn’t receive an interview invite to Harvard but planned on moving forward with his applications and gained new appreciation for his employer. Amit recounted his experience at a Ross information session in Bangalore.

LBS ’14 Maggie loved many aspects to the program, but did not like saying goodbye to professors. McCombs ’14 Shelby and other first-year friends participated in a costumed round of golf.

INSEAD ’12 Victor shared some photographs and reflections from his Wharton exchange experience thus far. LBS ’13 William thanked his classmates for making his first year at LBS “rock.”  Kellogg ’13 Briel fully enjoyed participating in the Color Run. Tepper ’13 Julianne discussed part-time work opportunities the school provides its students. INSEAD ’12 Cliff couldn’t believe that he had less than two months before graduation.

And that’s a wrap for this week’s edition of FFF. We hope that interview invitations reach our applicant bloggers, while current students continue to acclimate to their school years. Until next week, have a great weekend!
