Fridays From The Frontline
Oct 5, 2012 | 1 comment
Hello and welcome to Fridays From The Frontline, Clear Admit’s weekly perusal of the latest news in the b-school blogosphere. This week found all MBA bloggers active, and we were glad to hear about all of their experiences!
Asax was absolutely mad for GMAT quant practices. MBAOver30 submitted his apps for Harvard, Wharton, Booth and Stanford but still had Sloan left to do. Sassafrass extolled some of the virtues of being a celebrity blogger and reviewed Clear Admit’s Yale School Guide. Sanket expressed his pleasure over MIT’s revamped website. Unclearadmit submitted three applications and discussed what he was doing differently than in his last set of applications. Amit also reviewed a Clear Admit publication, noting the great consolidation of information and key statistics.
McCombs ’14 Lisa finally felt the full weight of being back in a school setting. LBS ’14 Maggie shared her initial concerns about taking finance courses and discussed her Portuguese professors. McCombs ’14 Dan wouldn’t describe himself as a cheerleader, and then went on to share some of the positive and negative things he’d observed thus far on campus. LBS ’14 John recounted his experience moving to London, finding a place to live and dealing with Visas. Anderson ’14 Chris explained some of the finer points of the program’s core curriculum.
Johnson ’13 Andrew embarked on a recruiting trip in NYC and then focused his attentions on an IPO case competition. Johnson ’13 Ellipser promised a lengthy post about the school’s Start-Up weekend, but first requested that his readers take two surveys for his fellow classmates.
And that’s a wrap for this edition of Fridays From The Frontline. Many round one deadlines are behind us, but for those still working, we wish you the best and a restful moment before round two. Until next week, have a great weekend!
