Twitter Thursdays: News from MBA Programs

Welcome to this week’s Twitter Thursdays, in which we summarize some of the top tweets from MBA programs on Twitter!  If you want to stay on top of Clear Admit’s updates, special prizes, admissions tips and breaking news, be sure to check us out on Twitter.  We’ve also created a list of MBA programs to ease your daily access to breaking news from the top MBA programs, as reported by admissions committee members themselves.

Across the pond, MBA Admissions Coordinator at Judge Business School, James Barker, announced UK locations for Cambridge MBA info sessions this week.  Rich Lyons, the Dean of the Haas School of Business, interviewed AT&T CEO Randall Stephenson as part of the Dean Speaker Series.  Amidst a slew of recommended reading, the Dean of the Darden School of Business, Bob Bruner, participated in an alumni reception among other events in Jakarta this week.  Back in Chapel Hill, the Dean of UNC / Kenan-Flagler, Jim Dean, enjoyed a reception with exchange students from Asia, Europe, Latin and South America.

Chicago Booth welcomed the Class of 2014 to campus.  In addition to plugging some professors’ research, Northwestern / Kellogg’s re-posted some new students’ tweets about the welcoming reception.  Columbia Business School also posted a video of highlights from their orientation for the Class of 2014.  Prospective students for Duke / Fuqua mingled in Monterrey, Mexico, earlier this week.  The admissions team from UT / Austin McCombs announced some upcoming MBATour events in China in August.

Thanks for tuning into Twitter Thursdays this week!  If you’re on Twitter, let us know; e-mail wiki@clearadmit.com with your user name and status as an MBA applicant, student or admissions officer so we can add you to the appropriate Twitter list.  Happy tweeting and we’ll see you next week with some more updates!
