Hello and welcome to this week’s Fridays From the Frontline! In this ongoing blog feature we always are on the lookout for the freshest news in the b-school blogosphere.
Asax shared a quote to keep fellow applicants’ spirits up. Sassafrass attended an Yale information session in San Francisco and learned a few additional facts about the program and its alumni. Amit expanded on the criteria he thinks are most important for international b-school applicants.
Wharton ’14 Motown commenced her pre-term experience, learned new things about foreign destinations and prepared for a math exam. McCombs ’14 Shelby filled her class-free Friday with plenty of Austin-centric activities, including a classmate’s BBQ and a trip out to a lake. Anderson ’14 Ashley enjoyed her first college football tailgate.
LBS ’13 James provided first years a few words of advice as they began their studies. Darden ’13 Darden Social apologized for the lack of posts and outlined what they’d been up to over the last few weeks. Johnson ’13 Ellipser enjoyed being able to attend more speaker events in his second year. Tepper ’13 Julianne found that she and her classmates’ conversation topics were turning from internships to scholarships.
