Twitter Thursdays: News from MBA Programs

It’s time again for Twitter Thursdays, our weekly take of the happenings reported by leading MBA programs on Twitter. If you want to stay on top of Clear Admit’s updates, special prizes, admissions tips and breaking news, be sure to check us out on Twitter.   We’ve also created a list of MBA programs to ease your daily access to breaking news from the top MBA programs, as reported by admissions committee members themselves.

The Associate Director of Admissions at Duke / Fuqua, Meredith Conder, dropped in on the school’s Health Sector Management bootcamp.  Meanwhile, UNC Kenan-Flagler’s Dean, Jim Dean, shared his conversation with the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business President, John Fernandes, on Kenan-Flagler’s MBA.  Rich Lyons, the Dean of the Haas School of Business, set his Twitter spotlight on some notable alumni, including Mexico’s Entrepreneur-of-the-Year and recently named CEO of LAN Peru Airlines.  Across the pond, MBA Admissions Coordinator at Judge Business School, James Barker, announced a few stops in Asia, including Singapore, Beijing and Hong Kong, for the Cambridge admissions team.

Keep an eye on the pole vault event in the Olympics, as an incoming Chicago Booth first-year will be competing.  For candidates curious about the scene behind start-ups, Wharton offered some sneak peeks from their Entrepreneurial Intern Fellows.  With a new entrepreneurship leader on board, Northwestern / Kellogg announced some new courses for the fall.  The INSEAD team posted the MBA graduation photos from their Europe and Asia campuses.

Thanks for tuning into Twitter Thursdays this week!  If you’re on Twitter, let us know; e-mail wiki@clearadmit.com with your user name and status as an MBA applicant, student or admissions officer so we can add you to the appropriate Twitter list.  Happy tweeting and we’ll see you next week with some more updates!
