Twitter Thursdays: News from MBA Programs

Welcome to this week’s Twitter Thursdays, our weekly roundup of the news and events reported by leading MBA programs on Twitter. If you want to stay on top of Clear Admit’s updates, special prizes, admissions tips and breaking news, be sure to check us out on Twitter.   We’ve also created a list of MBA programs to ease your daily access to breaking news from the top MBA programs, as reported by admissions committee members themselves.

The Associate Director of Admissions at Duke / Fuqua, Meredith Conder, plugged the school’s pending free online courses for keeping professional skills sharp.  Meanwhile, UNC Kenan-Flagler’s Dean, Jim Dean, linked to a study comparing the effectiveness of traditional vs. online learning.  Rich Lyons, the Dean of the Haas School of Business, expanded on the way in which the program seeks to achieve curriculum integration.  Across the pond, MBA Admissions Coordinator at Judge Business School, James Barker, announced a few stops in the U.S., including New York, San Francisco, Washington D.C. and Houston, for the Cambridge admissions team.

The next admissions chat by Chicago Booth is coming up in a few weeks on August 8th.  The Kelley School of Business noted their pride in an initiative to support military personnel in pursuing an MBA.  For candidates curious about the student work churning out at Northwestern / Kellogg, the school shared a round-up of student winners from last year’s case competition.  From hosting a welcome reception in Singapore to posting the graduation speech given to the Fontainebleau 12J class, the INSEAD MBA team covered a lot of ground this week.
