Twitter Thursdays: News from MBA Programs
Welcome to this week’s Twitter Thursdays, in which we summarize some of the top tweets from MBA programs on Twitter! The Dean of the UCLA / Anderson School of Management, Judy Olian, detailed her visit to the program’s Singapore partner, NUS Business School. Fellow Californian, Rich Lyons, the Dean of the Haas School of Business, linked to MBA-related topics, including research on the influence of teaching focus. Also on the road this week, the Dean of the Darden School of Business, Bob Bruner, headed to Pittsburgh to visit the Katz and Tepper Schools of Business. In addition to directing applicants to a useful student blog, the Head of Cambridge MBA Admissions and Marketing, Conrad Chua, captured his view of the Olympic torch as it passed through Cambridge.
Curious applicants based in Africa can look forward to a number of info sessions hosted by Chicago Booth this month in Nairobi, Lagos, Johannesburg and Accra. Northwestern / Kellogg plugged some professors’ research on a range of topics, including broadband providers and Microsoft. Atlanta alumni of Duke / Fuqua can look forward to an upcoming reception and discussion with Fuqua Dean Bill Boulding on July 25. MBA’s from UT / Austin McCombs are interning all over the world this summer, as seen in the school’s interactive map of selected full-time students.
