Twitter Thursdays: News from MBA Programs

Welcome to this week’s Twitter Thursdays, our weekly roundup of “tweets” posted by top MBA programs on Twitter.  If you want to stay on top of Clear Admit’s updates, special prizes, admissions tips and breaking news, be sure to check us out on Twitter.  We’ve also created a list of MBA programs to ease your daily access to breaking news from the top MBA programs, as reported by admissions committee members themselves.

A quarter of a century in the making, Garth Saloner, the Dean of the Stanford Graduate School of Business, enjoyed catching up with the Class of 1987 at their 25th reunion this past weekend.  Though he spent some time in Chicago this week at the GMAC event, MBA Admissions Coordinator at Judge Business School, James Barker, is heading back to Cambridge in time to wrap up the year with graduate events.  Rich Lyons, the Dean of the Haas School of Business, announced some upcoming improvements to the Haas campus.  As summer begins, the Dean of the Darden School of Business, Bob Bruner, posted links a few useful articles about vacation.

MIT / Sloan posted their full application for the 2012-2013 admissions season this week; see the Clear Admit blog for easy access to MIT / Sloan’s essay topics.  Earlier this week, Chicago Booth’s hosted a chat about the application process; applicants should stay tuned for the transcription.  Duke / Fuqua also gave prospective applicants a more intimate look at their program through their Fuqua Faculty Conversation session this week. Meanwhile, partners of Wharton EMBA students shared their personal experiences with the program.

Thanks for tuning into Twitter Thursdays this week!  If you’re on Twitter, let us know; e-mail wiki@clearadmit.com with your user name and status as an MBA applicant, student or admissions officer so we can add you to the appropriate Twitter list.  Happy tweeting!
