Fridays From The Frontline
Hello and welcome to Fridays From the Frontline, Clear Admit’s weekly blog post that sums up the latest news from the b-school blogosphere. Today also marks the final day that readers can cast their votes in this year’s Best of Blogging competition. So make sure you get to it!
Ccatcher sent Tepper her deposit for her place in the Class of 2014, but still needed to work out some additional financing. Ms. HR announced her decision to attend Vanderbilt’s Owen School of Management and outlined how she came to that choice. Mbafome remained on the waitlists of both Fuqua and Yale, and reflected on why they probably wouldn’t say yes to a third school that offered an acceptance. Unfathomable explained how he determined that switching jobs was the right move for him, given his MBA applications. The Senator expressed gratitude for increased traffic to his site and happiness that a conversation he contributed to about the Consortium had sparked interest in so many. Cheetarah worked to determine ‘what mattered most’ when trying to decide between Kellogg, Booth and Wharton. Str1der traveled to the US and visited the campuses of Stern and Wharton.
Johnson ’13 Ellipser and some of his classmates were obsessed with the television show Revenge, and had already started planning their second year treks and trips. Kellogg ’13 Night Owl shared the 2012 Kellogg Lip Dub video with the world. Tepper ’13 Julianne wrote about the Organizational Leadership Club’s first Book Series event, which she organized.
Darden ’12 Dave felt that some of his classmates could do with a little less nostalgia and count downs. Columbia ’12 Praz discussed his role organizing the 2012 India Business Conference. Kellogg ’12 Jeremy met many an accepted Kellogg student at the 2012 ‘Day at Kellogg’, and received positive emails from some who attended the event.
