Fridays From the Frontline
Apr 20, 2012 | 3 comments
Welcome to Fridays From the Frontline, Clear Admit’s weekly roundup of the b-school blogosphere’s comings and goings. With our announcement last week of this year’s Best of Blogging nominees, b-school bloggers were abuzz. Many announced their nominations and encouraged their readers to vote, which Clear Admit also encourages.
BoB nominee Ccatcher danced a happy dance after receiving additional scholarship funding from Tepper. Fellow BOB nominee Ms HR found herself with some decisions to make. After much study and dedication, nominee MBA Dreamz successfully broke the 700 mark on her GMAT. The Senator proudly displayed his BoB badge and discussed how his approach to the blog changed over the course of his application process. Cheetarah felt a certain amount of dread when it came down to actually picking between Kellogg, Chicago Booth and Wharton.
Johnson ’13 Ellipser got ‘ICED’ and reconnected with recently admitted students whom he first met when they were just visiting hopefuls. Harvard ’13 Parker announced her official status as ‘entrepreneur.’ While announcing her own BoB nomination Kellogg ’13 Night Owl reflected on how unsure of where she was going to be a year ago and how happy she was with the way things turned out. Tepper ’13 Julianne loved Thursdays for a number of reasons, including her BoB nomination, the warm weather and writing a case study about Wii.
Oxford ’12 Bayo, like most of his fellow nominees, encouraged his readers to vote for him in the competition. Darden ’12 Jonathan shared a few things he’d like to be able to tell himself in 2010. With yet another nomination to his name, Kellogg ’12 Jeremy assured his readers that he planned to keep blogging even as his days in b-school dwindled. GW ’12 Part-Timer discussed the ‘senioritis’ effect.
And that concludes this week’s issue of Fridays From the Frontline. We hope that students are enjoying the final stretch of their first or second years, and that applicants have received at least a little good news mixed in with the disappointing zaps. And remember to vote for your favorite bloggers before April 27th! Until then, have a wonderful weekend!

Hi,
Can you please mention the updates from my blog also. I have written 3 posts in the last week and I am part Cleardmit Bloggers – Unfathomable!
http://knowingthepathandwalkingthepath.blogspot.in/
But my updates are not mentioned in yesterday’s update of Fridays from the Frontline. Can you pls update! Thanks very much!
Sanket
Sanket,
Thanks for your comment – and for all of the blogging you’ve been doing! I will alert the ‘Fridays from the Frontline’ team to ensure that they’ve got you on their radar. We have so many active bloggers in FFF community that I know it’s often hard for them to get to everyone each week.
Thanks again for letting us know!
Best of luck with your MBA applications,
Graham
Dear Richmond,
That was very kind of you. I understand, it was not a complaining mode but just a reminder to fix any technical glitch with which similar problems with other bloggers can be addressed. Thats the only intention, thanks for the update! Take care, happy weekend!
Sanket.
