News, advice and resources for business school applicants

Fridays From the Frontline

Hello there and welcome to Fridays From the Frontline, Clear Admit’s weekly blog post featuring the latest news and activity from the MBA applicant and student blogosphere. This week many applicants were reporting on their final school lists or results while students were describing their recent vacations or how to prepare for the end of their time in grad school.

Fortune 800’s Ms. HRshared her list of schools that accepted her, as did her fellow blogger, Motown. Unfathomable celebrated his 100th post and 20 months of b-school blogging. The Senator outlined the two most frequently heard responses he gets when he tells people of his plans to attend Tuck, one of which he liked far better than the other. Cheetarah caught up her readers on her acceptances, which included Chicago Booth and Kellogg, and shared her theory of Stanfords interview invitation system.

Oxford ’12 Bayo investigated some of the less tangible ‘costs’ of an MBA. Tepper ’13 Julianne wore Ugg boots during the school’s annual International Festival.

Kellogg ’12 Jeremy celebrated Easter with two Kellogg community brunches. LBS ’12 Bosa struggled to organize or part with the many folders and files he accumulated over his b-school career. Having enjoyed and struggled with different parts of his recent Global Business Experience in India, Darden ’12 Jonathan explained that the most often used word of the trip was “unclear.”

And that’s a wrap for this edition of Fridays From the Frontline.  We hope that the coming weeks continue to prove fruitful for applicants and students alike. Until next week, have a great weekend!
