Fridays From The Frontline

Hello there, and welcome to Fridays From the Frontline. Each week Clear Admit scours the b-school blogosphere for updates on applicant outcomes and student activities. This week found some applicants getting news about their applications, while students shared a variety of experiences and thoughts with their readers.

MBAfome received a waitlist notification from Yale and expressed a reluctance to retake the GMAT.  Ms HR received her first admit from Johnson while Motown decided to pass some of the time while waiting for news by finding errands to run, calling up old friends, and other activities not related to her applications. Abhishek wrote about his admission to Kellogg and his experience at their DAK event. Rolipolli dedicated his latest post to GMAT reading comprehension questions.

Prompted by a prospective asking her what her favorite part of Kellogg was, Kellogg ’13 Night Owl expanded on her intial response.  Harvard ’13 Parker explained the process behind “Go Day.” Oxford ’13 Bayo recounted a week in his life, which included football, macroeconomics and hockey.

Darden ’12 Patrick focused on the theory of lean thinking. LBS ’12 mbahut frequented a few art museums and reflected on art and business. Darden ’12 Darden Poet designed a score sheet to compare her first year to her second. Kellogg ’12 Jeremy wished his readers a happy leap day. Darden ’12 Jonathan shared a video that followed the prank shenanigans his classmates can get up to when prospective students visit.  Fellow Darden ’12 classmate Dave recounted all the ways he was spending money he didn’t have.

And that’s the news for this week’s FFF installment. We hope that applicants continue to share their results, and that students remain diligent with their class work even as the weather improves. Until next week, have a great weekend!
