The Haas School’s Dean announced the school’s piece of the Nobel pie – Berkeley-Haas won this year’s Nobel Prize in Economics. A fellow California b-school dean, UCLA / Anderson’s Dean, Judy Olian, spent some time in New Zealand with the University of Auckland. The dean of UNC / Kenan-Flagler, Jim Dean, welcomed UNC alum Jason Kilar, CEO of Hulu, to campus to speak to business and journalism students.
MBA Admissions Coordinator at Judge Business School, James Barker, and the deans student admissions committee at Chicago Booth are gearing up to read and assess Round 1 applications, as their deadlines passed this week. Meanwhile, the Haas School reminded full-time Round 1 applicants of next week’s deadline on the 20th. The Johnson School launched a new faculty podcast on successful negotiations. Teaming with the Rand Center and Dartmouth, the Wharton School launched a center dedicated to improving financial literacy. The Kellogg School of Management continued its steady stream of insight and research, as conducted by their notable professors.
