Welcome to another edition of Wiki Wednesdays, where we highlight new and informative content in the Clear Admit Wiki! This past week, we’ve had a number of interview reports roll in for Columbia Business School, Cornell / Johnson, Dartmouth / Tuck and Stanford GSB. Before diving into a few reports, we’d like to thank everyone who has contributed to the Wiki this season and kept it a robust resource!
Also, as a reminder, over the next few weeks, every fifth piece of content submitted for the Clear Admit Wiki will receive a $10 iTunes gift card. Plus, between now and next Tuesday, February 10th, the first 15 candidates that submit interview reports for Carnegie Mellon University’s Tepper School of Business, the Yale School of Management, INSEAD or IESE will receive a $10 gift certificate to iTunes! (Please note, to be eligible for a prize, content must be e-mailed to wiki@clearadmit.com. Limit: one gift card per person.)
Without further ado, let’s take a closer look at the questions posed to a few Cornell candidates. One Round 2 applicant shared the following questions received from an adcom member:
- How would your friends describe you?
- What other schools are you applying to?
- What are you reading right now?
- What do your parents do?
Another recent Cornell hopeful highlighted the following queries, as posed by an adcom member:
- [What are your] Post-MBA plans – short and long term?
- How will [you] contribute and be an active member of the Johnson community?
- [Provide] leadership examples.
- [Give me] teamwork examples.
- How will [your] friends describe [you]?
Swinging over to Stanford, an admitted Round 1 candidate reported the following questions:
- Talk about a time you encountered a problem you had to overcome.
- When I mentioned something from my CV, he would look through it and ask follow-up questions focusing on the “why”
- Is there anything you’ve done merely out of passion?
Thanks for stopping by Wiki Wednesdays! Tune in next week for more highlights of the latest contributions to the Clear Admit Wiki. As we mentioned above, keep those reports rolling in for a chance to win an iTunes gift card! Best of luck to those undergoing Round 2 interviews!
