The Wharton School of Business at the University of Pennsylvania is planning events in more than 45 cities this summer and fall for prospective applicants for the fall of 2009 (Class of 2011).
Already this summer, the school has held events around the globe, including in Vietnam, Bulgaria, Israel, Mexico and, for the first time ever, Cape Town, South Africa.
Two international events are planned for later this week, one in Tokyo on July 18th and another in Beijing on July 19th.
Several additional events also have been scheduled in early August, including two geared specifically toward women and diversity candidates. Taking place in Los Angeles and San Francisco on August 4th and 5th respectively, these events are targeted toward women and minorities as well as members of the LGBT community.
Additional general information sessions on the full-time MBA program also are planned for Seattle (August 6th) and Toronto (August 13th).
Wharton’s admissions events, which include informal meet and greets and coffee chats as well as more traditional information sessions, are a great way to learn more about the Wharton experience and speak with alumni and current students.
The Wharton Admissions Committee is currently in the process of updating its fall schedule. For the most up-to-date listing, click here.
