Last week, Columbia Business School (CBS) unveiled its redesigned website, featuring enhancements that help integrate all of its publications, news, events and academic information in one convenient place.
Added subject-area tagging makes it easier to search and navigate by topics of interest, and a new RSS subscription feed means that users can now sign up to be notified via email, mobile device or personal web portal whenever new content is added to the site.
The site redesign, undertaken by noted design firm Pentagram, is part of a continuing identity campaign at CBS designed to “bring you closer to the thought leadership produced at the school and the remarkable community that drives it,” according to a release announcing the final phase of the relaunch.
In addition to latest headlines and school news, the redesigned website features a chronological news archive, links to mentions of the school in other media and a Research and Publications page, including links to Public Offering, the school’s blog, which launched earlier this year; ideas@work, a showcase of faculty research; and CaseWorks, a collection of teaching cases based on the real-world research and expertise of Columbia’s faculty.
Of course, the website also includes comprehensive information about the school’s full-time MBA, executive MBA, executive education and doctoral programs, as well as insight into the lives of students and the community on campus.
