As avid followers of our site know, Manhattan GMAT hosted an event for prospective MBA students just a few months ago that featured a panel discussion of four leading admissions consultants, Clear Admit included. In addition to offering an overview of his or her company’s approach, philosophy and methodology, a representative from each organization took the audience through a case study, assessing the candidacy of a fictional applicant and offering some insights into positioning for the sake of the admissions process.
Because these proceedings are of obvious interest to anyone trying to understand their strengths and weaknesses as a prospective MBA student and formulate their application strategy, we wanted to point out that an audio recording of the Admissions Consultant Panel event is now available online!
Also, for our readers in and around the Chicago area, we wanted to make a quick announcement that Manhattan GMAT will be hosting a free B-School Panel Event next month. Featuring admissions representatives from the Chicago GSB and Kellogg School of Management, as well as Clear Admit’s own Graham Richmond, this event offers a great opportunity for round two applicants hoping to glean some insight on how to polish their materials, and also for prospective applicants who are just beginning to think about the admissions process.
The panel discussion will take place on December 6th from 7-9pm, and will be held at Manhattan GMAT’s Chicago Center. The event is free; simply register on the MGMAT event detail page.
